Estimated initial investment required for a single restaurant ranges from Rs. 80 Lacs - Rs. 1 Cr.

Franchisees pay one time royalty or set-up fees of Rs. 15 Lacs (inclusive of all taxes). In addition, they are required to pay 6% of net monthly sales* as Franchisee Fees, which helps fund ongoing support to the franchise community as well as the development of new products, procedures, marketing tools, training programs and other systems upgrades.

Our objective is always to secure the best possible location at a reasonable rent. We'll assist you with the site selection process and help you negotiate the economics of the lease with the landlord. The minimum area should be ~2500 sq. feet carpet area (owned or rented infrastructure), with adequate frontage. The internal height should be ~12 – 14 ft, with adequate parking facilities and a certain standard of adjacent tenants. The area under consideration could be in a:

  1. Mall
  2. High street
  3. Near a cinema or a business centre

All Mochas are distinctly designed, yet similar - we lay a lot of emphasis on the ambience and interiors of the space, which is why we call them 'handmade'. As far as possible, we try to incorporate local themes in our design elements. For instance, Chandigarh is inspired from Le Corbusier, Raipur has drawn inspiration from Bastar Art and Ludhiana has a wall dedicated to the spare parts. With this in mind, the interior designer will provide you with the designs that will not only meet our specifications, but will also provide you with a custom designed, beautiful and functional restaurant. The execution of these designs is at your end - you are at liberty to work with local contractors and vendors of your choice.

Once the restaurant is operational, a Franchisee Business Manager (FBM) will be assigned to your restaurant to assist you in assessing and improving all aspects of your business. He will assist you with local store marketing strategies and keep you informed of upcoming regional and national promotions. We provide training for both franchisee owners and their staff, through theoretical classroom sessions and and practical on the job training modules, so that our promise of great quality food and beverage is consistently, 24/7.

You will also receive, among other things, a detailed operations manual, the rights to use our exclusive trademarks and recipes, access to our approved suppliers, and numerous operational and marketing support tools.

From first inquiry to opening the restaurant, the entire process takes about 3-6 months, depending on a number of factors, including the signing of a Letter of Intent and site availability.

term of the license agreement is for 6 years, i.e. (3+ 3)
